Honestly, she really didn't deserve this. As her online friend prior to her joining DevArt, I know that she wouldn't be as ill-minded as to deliberately steal another deviant's artwork. I wouldn't be surprised if she had based her work on this particular drawing, but she may have seen it somewhere else on the internet without knowing it was made by Psyconorikan, and without the intention of stealing directly from her.

Either way, she didn't even say anything in reply to deserve all the harsh feelings from everyone who commented on her work. I honestly believe she worked hard on it, and she should get at little room to explain herself before everyone just brands her a hack and a thief. She said she put her own effort into it, and that she didn't intend to rip off anybody else's work.

Everyone just needs to calm down, sit back, and let the issue be decided between Psyconorikan and Shipon personally. I'm disappointed that Psyconorikan had to go and directly call out Shipon, instead of trying to get an explanation before determining whether it was the product of bad intentions. I would feel very upset if someone did a blatant rip of my work too, but I would like to believe I can be a little more cool-headed when it came to dealing with the suspected offender.
